University of Kent Galvanising Works
Project value - £50-60k

Introduction:
Wilson & Partners were appointed by the University of Kent as Mechanical & Electrical designers for the refurbishment of the Galvanising Workshop at the Historic Dockyard. The existing M&E services were removed and replaced with new to suit its altered purpose, whilst retaining its original “industrial” look.
Brief:
Through the course of the project, W&P worked with the client and HMY to develop an efficient, cost-effective design for the iconic industrial-style space.
Project delivery:
Through proactive management and effective communication, W&P successfully mitigated various risks including delay to program that arose due to changes in contractor appointment. The team managed the communication flow and in turn developed a good working relationship with all involved in the project.
