Introduction:

Wilson & Partners have been commissioned to provide MEP design services for the modernisation of one of University of Kent’s iconic buildings.

​

Brief:

Rutherford College is sited on the University of Kent’s Canterbury campus. The college is to undergo major refurbishment over a 4 year period. Phase 1 of the refurbishment focuses on the south wing of the college and will replace all existing study accommodation with contemporary, open meeting spaces and offices. The designs include new mechanical ventilation systems, domestic services along with heating systems replacement and full electrical rewire.

 

Project Delivery:

The project programme demands development of full Stage 4 technical designs for tender and contractor appointment by Q1 2023.
